A source has confirmed that Tommie Vaughn Ford is about to launch a major reconstruction of its business at 1145 N. Shepherd Drive.
“Everything – the showroom, lot, service department – will be reconstructed,” the source told The Leader. The project will be done in phases to keep the business running and is expected to take through December 2013, it was reported.
Tommie Vaughn has been a major Houston Ford dealership since 1956, its giant red-and-white neon sign looming atop a tower over The Heights. The location features new and used vehicle sales, and a large service department and body shop.
