About Us
Welcome to Gethsemane Lutheran. When Jesus wanted a peaceful place to pray, he went to the Garden of Gethsemane, just outside of Jerusalem. Jerusalem's Gethsemane is a grove of trees, close to the city yet secluded enough for spiritual refreshment.

Houston's Gethsemane is similar, in some ways, to Jerusalem's. Gethsemane Lutheran sits in the midst of a grove of oak trees in northwest Houston, about 10 miles from downtown. Houston's Gethsemane has been a place for people to come for spiritual nourishment for over 58 years.
