About Us
Oaks Presbyterian Church is a neighborhood church with an intimate congregation sharing joys and sorrows as a community of believers. It is a welcoming congregation with Care Circles who look after each other spiritually and physically. For our adult education hour on Sunday mornings we use The Wired Word as our curriculum. This is an adult Bible study based on current events. Each week a current event is selected along with relevant Scripture. During the worship service for our children we have C.A.M.P. (Crafts, Arts, Movies, and Play). Our children actively learn about the role God plays in each of their lives. "Saints under Construction"represent our two weekly Bible studies. On Wednesdays we meet at the church from noon until 2. The format is usually a 6-week DVD Bible study on specific Biblical topics. Our Thursday evening group is a book study. Both singles and families are at home in this caring and inclusive congregation.
