The Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce recently elected new board members and officers for the 2021-22 fiscal year, selecting Gene Reynolds of local accounting firm Reynolds & Assoc. as its new board chair.
Four local business leaders are new members of the chamber board, including The Leader publisher Jonathan McElvy. Craig Atkinson of Houston Highway Credit Union, Steve Baker of Movement Mortgage and Paige Cassel Williams of Hampton Inn & Suites are the other new members of the board, which governs the chamber of commerce and is responsible for all its policy-making decisions. The chamber serves hundreds of businesses in the Heights, Garden Oaks and Oak Forest areas.
Along with Reynolds, the 2021-22 officers for the board are Atkinson, who's serving as secretary; past chair Amy Ritter of Allegiance Bank; vice chairman Jim Murray of Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital; treasurer Tony Allman of PrimeWay Federal Credit Union; and treasurer Liliana Canga of Members Trust of the Southwest Federal Credit Union.
The other board members are Jason Cantrelle of Cantrelle State Farm Agency, Ricky Hurst of CenterPoint Energy, Teresa Nicolas-Briggs of Houston Highway Credit Union; Lindsey Pollock of Lian Dante Foundation, April Petronella of PetroFox Education, Cindy Reibenstein of Reibenstein and Associates, David Schein of Claremont Management Group and Jack Van Pelt of JVP Jewelry & Jewelers.
