Greater Heights residents with musically-inclined children will soon have another option for private and group lessons.

Vivaldi Music Academy (VMA), which has four locations in the Houston area, is expected to open next year at 1009 Yale St., near the intersection of 11th Street and Yale Street.

“We’re so proud to be able to say that Vivaldi Music Academy is continuously expanding all across Houston (and) providing the very best education and performance opportunities to our incredible community of musicians,” owner Zeljko Pavlovic said in a statement.

The Sarajevo, Bosnia native was classically trained in Brussels as a violinist and has performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall and alongside Yo-Yo Ma and Andrea Bocelli. He is a board member of the Houston Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and a collaborator with the Houston Symphony.

Tuition for VMA starts at $102 per month for ages 1-5 and $102 for weekly, 45-minute group sessions for ages 4-11. Weekly private lessons cost $192 per month for 30-minute sessions and $384 per month for 60-minute sessions.
