Houston police say they are looking into a shooting near Acres Homes last week that injured a teenage boy.

The 15-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, according to the Houston Police Department.

HPD said the boy was standing in the parking lot of a car wash at 1100 W. Little York Rd. around 7:15 p.m. July 1, when someone fired shots from a black four-door vehicle as it drove by, striking the boy in the leg. A bullet also grazed a 45-year-old man, police said, and he was treated at the scene.

There are no known suspects or motives in the incident, according to police.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact HPD’s Major Assaults & Family Violence division at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
