The annual fall festival at Norhill Heights’ Proctor Park was scrapped last year due to concerns over COVID-19. However, it is back this year and primed for even more fun and fellowship on Halloween night.

Community members are invited to the annual Proctor Park Fall Festival from 4-6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the park, 803 W. Temple St. in the Norhill Heights neighborhood. It will be the first festival held in two years due to previous COVID-19 restrictions.

Among the festivities will be face painting, music, candy and various food and drinks as well as a costume contest, though there will be no haunted house on account of social distancing guidelines.

The free event is open to those of all ages, and face masks and social distancing will be encouraged. Anyone wishing to be a festival sponsor can email
