Arson investigators are still working to determine what caused a house fire in the Greater Heights area last week that caused nearly $200,000 in damage to the home, according to the Houston Fire Department.

There were no injuries reported in the fire, according to the department.

Crews from Stations 15, 31, 6, 12 and 30 responded to a one-story house in the 1700 block of Tabor Street just after 2 a.m. on Sept. 15 to find a heavy fire coming from the home, according to HFD.

They were able to quickly extinguish the fire, HFD said,but not before it caused an estimated $150,000 worth of damage to the home.

The origin and cause of the blaze is still undetermined pending an review by arson investigators, according to HFD.
