A man was taken to the hospital after being allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend outside a Central Northwest business park last weekend, according to the Houston Police Department.

Police say the victim, 43-year-old Michael Kubeczka, was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

His girlfriend, a white woman known to police only as “Jessica,” according to HPD spokesperson Victor Senties, remained at large as of Tuesday, according to HPD. Senties said that name was the only information the victim was able to give to police.

HPD said officers responded to a business park at 4909 W. 34th St. a little after 8 p.m. last Sunday to find Kubeczka bleeding from the head in the parking lot. His girlfriend had allegedly hit Kubeczka in the head with an unknown object, police said, before fleeing the scene.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact HPD’s Major Assaults & Family Violence division at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
