Houston police say they are looking into the shooting of a man found dead outside a general store near Greater Inwood last week.

The Houston Police Department said the victim is a 30-year-old man whose identity is pending verification by the county’s medical examiner.

According to police, the victim was standing in the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store at 5723 Bingle Rd. around 9 p.m. April 30 when he was shot multiple times in the torso. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Authorities said there are no known suspects or motives in the shooting. Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact HPD’s Homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
