Houston police say they are searching for multiple suspects in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Greater Inwood storage facility earlier this week.

The identity of the victim, a 37-year-old man according to the Houston Police Department, is pending verification by the county’s medical examiner.

HPD said officers responded to Public Storage at 5685 De Soto St. around 11:40 p.m. Monday to find the victim lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to HPD.

Witnesses told police that two Black males jumped out of the back seat of a white sedan and fired multiple shots toward the victim before jumping back in and fleeing the scene with an unknown driver, according to HPD.

One suspect was wearing a white hoodie, and the other was wearing a black hoodie, police said.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact HPD’s Homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
