Houston police have released photos of a vehicle alleged to be used by suspects during a fatal shooting in the Langwood neighborhood last month.
The victim, 31-year-old Julian Castro, was pronounced dead at an area hospital on June 6.
The suspects are alleged to have driven a black or grey hatchback, possibly a Toyota Prius, according to HPD. It had dark rims and at least one seat had a pink seat cover, according to the department.
Police on June 6 around 6:30 p.m. responded to a home at 6519 Thornwall St. to find Castro having been shot. Four men with their faces covered allegedly forced one of the home’s residents back inside at gunpoint before ransacking the house, according to the department. The suspects then allegedly came upon Castro lying in a bed, according to HPD, and allegedly shot him before fleeing the scene in the car.
Anyone with information about the car, the suspects, or the shooting is asked to contact HPD’s Homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
