A Heights bagel shop announced Wednesday it is closing its doors for good.
Golden Bagels & Coffee, 3119 White Oak Drive, wrote in a Facebook post to thank its supporters and inform them that it would close permanently Sept. 26.
“We are proud to have served you and become an integral part of our Heights community over the past 4 years,” owners Avi Katz and Gregg Goldstein wrote. “We thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. We hope to see all of your smiling faces one or two more times before we lock the doors for good. We will miss you all.”
The New York-style bagel shop first opened in 2018. It serves classic sandwiches like a bagel and lox, fried egg and pastrami and also offers unique ingredients like maple pecan and vegan sunflower spreads.
Golden Bagels is open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
