Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital is looking for teenage volunteers for a summer program.

The hospital is accepting applications through Friday for its junior volunteer program, which is for high school students aged 15-17.

The summer program runs from July 6-Aug. 6. Volunteers may be able to volunteer year-round after they are placed in the summer program. 

Applicants will be screened and then interviewed to determine their eligibility, the hospital said in a news release. According to the application, the process may take up to three weeks, including a background check, tuberculosis (TB) test and reference verification.

Parental consent and signatures are required for the background check form and the TB test in order to proceed with the application. 

To apply, students should visit and click on a tab titled “Volunteer Information” and fill out the Junior Volunteer Form.

To submit the application, prospective volunteers should print and scan the application and email it to Cherl Ivy at or by delivering a printed application to Ivy at the south tower of Memorial Hermann Greater Heights, located at 1635 N. Loop W.
