Pain treatment company setting up shop in Oak Forest

San Antonio-based health provider Airrosti is opening an Oak Forest location this spring, according to a news release from Weingarten Realty.

Airrosti, which treats injuries and accompanying muscle and joint pain through physical therapy, has leased a 1,322 square foot space in the Oak Forest Shopping Center at the northwest corner of West 43rd Street and Ella Boulevard. Kroger is the anchor tenant in the development, which is owned and operated by Weingarten and also includes businesses such as Dollar Tree, Mattress Firm, PetSmart and Ross Dress for Less.

According to its website, Airrosti was founded in Austin in 2004 and has locations all over Texas as well as in Ohio, Virginia and Washington. There are more than 130 locations in Texas, including an existing area location at 3939 Washington Ave. Ste. 200.

Airrosti offers in-person treatment along with remote virtual care, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of soft-tissue injuries and pain through targeted manual therapy and myofascial release, a technique in which gentle sustained pressure is applied to connective tissue in order to eliminate pain and restore motion. The company said on its website that its patients typically have their injury or pain resolved in an average of three visits.
