The Watermark at Houston Heights, a senior and assisted-living apartment community that launched earlier this year at 1245 W. 18th St., is hosting two upcoming social events that are open to current and prospective residents.

A St. Patrick's Day celebration is planned for 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 17, in the W Lounge, which overlooks Houston's downtown skyline. There will be live entertainment from The Clan Kelly Dancers, food, refreshments from Yellow Rose Distillery and the opportunity to tour the seven-story, 220-unit property and its amenities. Healthcare and senior advocacy professionals also will be on hand.

Those who wish to attend the St. Patrick Day event are asked to RSVP by Wednesday, March 16 to John Parker at 281-241-5354 or jtparker@watermarkcommunities.com.

The community also is hosting a Watermark Rodeo event at 6 p.m. Friday, March 18. There will be complimentary Buckle Bunny cream ale from Eureka Heights Brew Co. as well as line-dancing and two-stepping instruction and a live performance by Melissa Jones Auld.
