St. Pius X High School entered the TAPPS football playoffs with two consecutive wins.

But that momentum – and the Panthers' season – came to an end in the TAPPS Division I area round last Saturday, Nov. 12 in Plano, where they lost 45-7 against Plano Prestonwood Christian. SPX finished the season with a 5-6 overall record.

Jackson Mobley caught his eighth touchdown pass of the season on a fourth-quarter throw from quarterback Bryce McKeon to account for the Panthers’ lone score.
